Test drove a Clubman today...

Loved it! Don't feel a need for the extra 60 hp of the "S."

We're in early exploration mode, looking for the next car. Downsizing from a Saturn VUE, but want fun and basic interior room. The Clubman handled like a motorcycle (I'm a rider - BMW Rockster, R1150R). Responsive and "tight" in the corners and plenty of GO! when asked.

...Now, can I go back to surfing around this site without any more pop-up interruptions?

I test drove a Clubman on May 20th (first time ever in a MINI that I want since 2002), and was impressed with the power. Always thought I would "need" more horsepower and wouldwant a Cooper S. Ten days later I got my very first MINI (non S and not a Clubman) and love it!!

I agree but I didn't have the money for the extra power (and knowing myself, speeding tickets!). But I DO HAVE MY OWN MINI!
