So excited for you Eddie!! Are you going today to get it?

Spent the weekend in NYC and that place is chocked full of Mini's. Is it wrong that I missed my car more than my puppy?

They're trying to get everything done on it for a delivery today. If I don't get it today I will get it tomorrow morning. *Crossing fingers for today*

LOL. Eddie, I know you must be giddie. If your experience at the dealer was like mine, you'll be in and out in no time. My dealer was no pressure and was so easy to deal with. They presented me with "options" and I declined and they didn't press. She just said ok, well let's sign some papers.

In all, I was in and out in about 1.5 hours. I had to wait on the finance person to finish with someone else or it would have been quicker.

My MA gave me a cool Mini bag, a Union Jack MINI throw pillow that I think I'm going to put in the backseat of my car, and a MINI water bottle.

You're going to love it!

It took longer to learn about the car than it did to do the paperwork.

And don't forget the mini swag....

Keep us posted!!

TrueEddie has captured the feeling of my excitement in getting my MINI. I am a Production Week 26 (Ordered Week 23) 2012 R55 S, and it's currently at the VDC.

My MA has said that as long as it doesn't get held up, I should be able to pick it up between the 22nd and 26th. My birthday is the 26th, and I'm really really hoping that it doesn't get held up.

AWESOME!!!!

simplybao is right - you are going to LOVE IT!!!! It is pure joy to drive!!!

And our experience at the dealer was very much like his, too. In and out pretty quick, very little pressure (the finance guy did push some on the tire and wheel protection plan, which, for runflats, seems to make sense to me). They almost forgot about the check .

I want pictures!!!!!

They weren't able to get everything done for a delivery yesterday. But they said it should be ready about "mid-day" today. Almost there .

Yeah. I understand that. Mine had trouble getting ours ready in one day too.

So anxious to see pictures of this car!!! You're in the home stretch.

It won't be a very long drive, I live about 5 minutes from my dealer . I'm sure it will still be awesome though.

Damn, that's way too close! Be convenient for servicing, though.

I'm sure you can find a long, roundabout way home!!

Can't blame you!! Have you stopped smiling yet? It was so worth it, wasn't it?

I need to get you pics of the garage floor paint. Finished it and got everything put back just before we went to NYC. It was worth it. Came out great!!

Aren't you glad you didn't decide to just jump ship and get something else? I'm still smiling ear to ear and I've had mine for almost 2 weeks. I normally work from home, but since I got the Mini, I've been going into the office to work just so I can drive. The office is about 30 miles from me and if I take the back roads, it's longer and twistier

Oh it's definitley a blast to drive, and I haven't even put it in sport mode yet. I got the JCW lateral G gauge put, so I took the car into a round-a-bout and was able to get the gauge to read just under 1 lateral G. That was fine, my MA was in the car with me, he had me put the car in 2nd gear and kept telling me to floor through the loop! Can't wait until I get more comfortable with the car and can push it harder.

I'm so glad I didn't jump ship. I would've regretted it.

My dealer didn't give me any swag though, I guess they don't all do that.

@Justmenmymini

Those floors look great! How long did it take you? I really want to do my floors, but I'm just so lazy!
