Front License Plate dilemma
I live in CA where the front plate is required. The dealer asked me if I wanted the front plate mounted. I told them not to since I didn't want holes in my bumper. I plan on doing the same with the new Mini I just ordered. It's been 3 years and I've never been stopped.
A friend of mine just got a MINI too and he got the front tow plate mount....I think I'll do that. I'm not going to drill holes in my front bumper...but I also don't want to get pulled over! LA cops are looking for any reason to take anyone down!

There was a post on here about a Euro Plate solution
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-solution.html
It is an old post and I do not want to bring it back from the dead. But does anyone know if the part they talk about at the top of the post work on the 2011/12 cooper r56 /57

Ohio requires Front Plates. I believe all Mini's purchased from Dealers in Ohio already have a factory installed license plate holder for the car so there is no fabrication needed once you pick the one you want, at least all of the ones I have seen have them already installed
