30 day tags and need help already.

Hello to all Mini fans. I just bought an 08 MCS, and the CEL came on with an 'increased emissions' warning. Based on the experience of the Mini alumni, what is the most likely cause of this? Thanks!

You can take it to an Autozone and they will put a OBD 2 code reader on it, you can then look up the code on the internet and that will tell you what has failed. While your at Autozone, buy yourself a code reader. They aren't expensive and, I think, a needed tool for those of use who like to wrench on our own cars.
