New Member, Kinda...

I am a new Member, but have made a few posts alreay. I wanted to introduce myself. Name is Mike, I am from North East PA in Wilkes-Barre.
I have already found lots of info here and have only had my 06 r53 for about 2 weeks. This is my 2nd cooper s but the first one was my wifes and I couldn't do to much to it.
I have a lot of plans for my mini and will be involved here alot.

Couldn't do much to your wife's Mini? Just to tell it's for the good of the family that you modify it to make it run better.

Well it wasnt because she didnt want me to... It is a long story and more has to do with problems we had with the car. I didnt want to originally get into it.
But here is the story about my first Mini drama: It was an 03 MCS electric blue, pretty much fully loaded 6 speed man, H/K stereo, navi, etc.. White roof, white wheels, white trim. I bought it used. As a graduation gift for my wife, totally surprised her with it. It was our favorite car we had both ever owned. After about 5k miles a spark plug blew through the head. (previous owner may have over torqued) Then I replaced the head and the mechanic apparently used the same head bolts causing the seal to leak and then that head cracked. So I put a used head on it... then there was lifter noise. Long story short I traded it in on a 2011 Honda CRZ
