I have finally spec'd out my new Chili Red Mini Hardtop S. The salesperson in Portland OR is pressuring me to submit the order asap because there won't be any spaces for 2011 new builds left. While I'm anxious to get my Mini as soon as possible, I don't like being pressured. Does anyone know the end date for ordering 2011 Mini's?

Not positive, but depending on what options you're looking at, the time is definitely running out. I was at a dealer yesterday (different from the one where I placed my order) and the MA told me that they are already into August build slots and the 2012's will be out in Sept.

 

You don't have enough info here for what exactly your spec. is, but from other threads if you want an auto trans or Mini Connected (w/o Nav), it's already effectively a wrap.

Said another way, make sure you know the build you want and the Japan parts situation that is affecting production before you get your expectations possibly disappointed. See other threads for specifics.

 

Wow that is nuts. I would be looking at getting my MCS late this year... I'm thinking I might have to spec it out and order soon for a 2012 Oct build slot!?
