Just heard from my MA that I am due in production May 31. I was originally in week 21 so this pushes me back by a week. I also ordered on 4/26. In looking at other posts from week 21 it looks like all JCW's ordered the last week in April or first week in May will all go through together in the next couple weeks.

Although 'Ask MINI' still has still not assigned a production date so it will be interesting to see when they make it 'official'.

Will advise as we proceed.

I didn't expect to add an update this quickly. I just tried 'Ask Mini' again and they gave me a completion date of May 31

My JCW was bumped up too. My car entered production today. I stopped my the dealer this afternoon and they gave me the good news. I checked online and it still shows on order. I called the 1-866-ask-mini and it says in production completion date of June 1st. Does that mean we are week 21?

I feel very lucky. I ordered JWC on 5/9. Production began on 5/12. Completed 5/20. I should be "sitting on the dock of the bay"--old Otis Redding song--awaiting a ride to Charleston. I was initially given a week 25 build week. Then reduced to week 21. Got in on week 20. I guess they know I had owned a 2005 MCS .

If it makes you feel a little better--I ordered my '05 MCS on 29 May 04. I wanted the facelift '05 which didn't start production till 1 Jul '04. Started production around 10 Jul. Completed 18 Jul. Got to Charleston around 3 Aug. Sat for several weeks because they didn't have '05 EPA stickers. Got to dealer on 21 Aug. I picked up 23 Aug. A 85 day wait!! Hang in there. Nick

I ordered a Clubman S on 5/2. The dealer swapped production slots with another because they had used their allotment for the month. I started getting nervous because I ordered the NAV system. MY MA told me today I'm scheduled for week 22. The Owner's Lounge still says on order and the Ask Mini operator says "scheduled for production pack" or something to that effect. I'm not sure I'm ready to feel relieved until I hear it's actually on the line. Oh, and next Monday is a Spring Bank Holiday in England so I don't know if they'll be making cars then.

I ordered mine on 5/18. Found out today that it's "In Production" with an estimated completion date of June 1st. Looks like my dealer was able to snake someone's production slot. This is a HUGE relief since I ordered with Connect + Nav.

Your car must be going down the line very close to mine.

I just went into production today, expected completion is 6/3. This is sooner than I expected.

Ask MINI changed my completion date from 5/31 to 6/1. Maybe Monday is an off day. Must be close to that orange one!

We're in the Paint Shop! This is good, means assembly in the first part week. Better yet, maybe after a long weekend. From personal experience-you DO NOT want a Friday assembled car!

You must be right ahead of me....I'm in the body shop as of today. I did read somehwere that Monday is a holiday for them, so hopefully there won't be very many unmotivated assemblers with bad hangovers putting my car together next Tuesday!

I am starting to get impatient. I have been shoping for parts/mods for a car I won't have for another month. I cleaned out the garage and organized my new detailing supplies today.

How do you think I feel? We have lived in the Middle East for the last 6 1/2 years. Bought this without setting foot in a dealership or sitting/driving one! Hope I've made the right choice. We don't even get home until JULY 10! Have a countdown clock on my desktop... Days, Hours, Minutes and Seconds!

That's awesome, I'm sure you will love it. I drove about 3 of them before I ordered, I even rented a non S Cooper for 3 days. I'll be making a big adjustment from an Avalanche to the MINI. Hopefully the time will pass quickly for you. Have a safe trip home, maybe your MINI will be waiting when you get there. That is going to be a sweet looking car, I love the JCW stripes.

Thanks! REALLY looking forward to delivery day. I expect it will be ready, along with a nice assortment of dealer installed accessories, when we arrive.

I am hoping for an early to mid July delivery. Longer trip to the northwest. I will be having a few JCW bits installed at the dealer also not sure how long that will take.

Have a look at your Vehicle Inquiry Report, find out your port location (mine is NYC) go to http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/countryList.do find the schedule of your city, that will show you your vessel. Now search by vessel in the same area and it will show you where it is and when it's due into Southampton. That might give you an idea of what ship you might be on. I'm hoping to catch a 6/6 departure, if I miss that next one out is 6/11. Hope this helps a little. There are some great sites you can track the ship once you know which one it's on. I found my '6/6 departure' is at dock in Germany and leaves for Southampton tomorrow. The fun continues!

Very cool, looks like either the 8th or the 21st. It might be close for the 8th since the car will be finished on the 3rd. Thanks for posting that info!!

I think you're OK for the 8th, looks like it usually takes about 3 days to get them to the port, then they just drive 'em right on board as I understand it.
