A New Mini Owner In Colorado

I am a first time mini owner and I am writing to introduce myself.
I bought my 2002 Cooper S a little over a month ago and I will have to say this is one of the best and most fun car I have ever driven. I never once in my life thought I would drive a mini, and now I look back and cant believe i ever thought that. I love modifying and changing things so I am sure I will be on this website all the time looking for cool new things to do to my mini!

Happy motoring!

I'm new too. On Friday I bought a low mileage 2003 JCW for my wife (& me too!) for our anniversary. We have wanted one since they first came out in 2002. Our new one drive like new. It was worth the wait.

Thanks, Rockridge.

While I can take at least partial credit for my auto history, full credit for the "Space Mini" goes to my wife, the artist of the family.

A couple of interesting cars that got away were a Porsche 356 and a sweet '73 Citroen Maserati SM I found in Austin just before moving to Portland. I still lust after one of those - as long as I can have a plumber on retainer.

Later this month on the weekend of the 20th, I'll be visiting Massachusetts for my 40th (!! ) college reunion at Clark U in Worcester. I'll spend Thursday & Sunday evenings at my sister's in Somerville. Anything interesting going on Monday the 22nd?
