Hello NAM,

Name here is Jim and I will be the proud owner of a 2011 S Clubman in BRG2 starting next week. I'm very new to Mini, but not to turbo 4cyl FWD cars; my previous vehicle was a Dodge Neon SRT-4. I did some major tweaks to the motor, suspension and astetics but it was never what I really wanted.

Currently, I am in Germany with the Air Force but will be sent to Cali soon. Look forward to learning a few tricks from everyone here.

My son is in the Army, 82nd Airborne.
When he was in Germany, he bought a SRT-4.
Had a blast with it.

 

I still own my Neon SRT-4 that I purchased new back in 2003. My car is one of the few remaining that run the Greddy emanage.

My son went to the Ring 3 times.
Got some great vids.
Came home to Bragg and traded for a 2010 F-250 PU
Jacked up so high I could probally drive under it.

The neon has been fun, got up to about 150 on the autobahn and it's been to the Ring and Hockenhiem. Looking forward to what the mini can do on the Pacific Coast Highway.

UAL - Greddy emanage? Wow that is impressive! I had Mopar Stage 3, and almost every other bolt-on. Next would have been the DSP tuner.

 

The Greddy emanage is a Japanese piggyback fuel management system. I am running that with Stage 2 ecu and AGP3147 kit. The SRT-4 is full of character. I plan on keeping mine as long as I can.
