I had mine a couple of weeks ago too, it took about 3 weeks after I actually got my MINI and many frantic waves at every MINI that I saw on the road to actually receive a wave in return, I was so thrilled I screamed in excitement

I got one yesterday for the first time -- from another Chili Red! -- and I was so stunned and surprised that by the time I waved back I think it was too late. ... I'll be better prepared next time, I promise!
