Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Kyle. My girlfriend just picked up her MINI today We both absolutely love it!!! Only thing she wants for it are some stripes for the hood. This is her first manual car so she is still learning.

Congrats on the new MINI. Was she thinking white stripes, or black, or ? Seems like there's a pretty nice blank canvas to work with.

Two days after she bought it, we got a knock on the door from someone that backed into it while it was parked in the street So I have a question, it needs a new hood, would you guys suggest having the stripes painted on?

I'm a soon to be new mini owner. I ordered my new Countryman 3 weeks ago and it is scheduled for production.Her name is Sadie, she is Royal Gray, white roof and racing strips. I can not wait for her to get here. I check the website several times a day hoping her status will have changed! The dealer told me it would probably be early June. I should have ordered in Jan. after test driving but promised my husband I would look at other cars before making my final decision. I did, but I really had already made up my mind and nothing else on the market compared. So now I wait. It's pure torture. Fun to read the forum though and that helps make the time pass. Now that there is Mini Dealer in Madison anyone know if there will be a new mini club starting in this area? Or is Milwuakee the only club in Wisconsin? Thanks

that's a bummer about the mishap I wouldn't have the stripes painted. If you change your mind later or find a different stripe you like better you can change it.
