Hello from Rochester, MI

Hello All,

I picked up my 2007 Mini Cooper S, Astro Black on Jan 10, 2011 from MotorCity Mini here in Michigan. It's been 2 months since I have been on this forum pretty much reading and researching about mini coopers and I thought now is the time to introduce myself.

As from the dealership:

List of Mods so far:

DDM Works Catback Exhaust
DDM Works Race Intake System
M7 Vortex Scoop
JSart Custon Wing Extension tip
Craven Speed Short Stubby Antenna
Detroit Tuned belt trim blackout kit
Blackout Grill trim kit
Blackout headlight, taillight trim, gas cap
Tint on 35% on the front windows, 20% on the rear windows, 3% sunband
Craven Speed Grill Badge Holder

Yet to come:
New set of Summer tires and wheels, Forged Intercooler, Lowering Springs, 22mm Rear Sway bar.

Will get better pictures of it, hopefully this weekend!!!

I would like to thank Chad @ DT for all the help.

Thanks,

KK.

Here are some pics that I have taken at work today.

Very nice lookin car!!!I just got my 07MCS a week ago it's a dark silver and black top. I plan on doing some mods as well!!! How do you like the m7 hood scoop? I wanted to change out my warped one!!! And also your intake , did you notice the difference?I'm near a mile high and want my mini to breathe better.
Good pics showed me what some of the stuff would look like on my mini!!

Thank you! I have the DDM Rce intake which helps in making the hood scoop functional. I had the OEM hood scoop without the Mesh/grill on it before the M7 hood scoop. I should say there is not much of a difference between both those scoops, performance wise...it's purely for looks. But, I wouldn't complain as it looks good. Yes, I love my intake....I can now hear it breathe better and also the turbo spool...if that's what you want I would go get a DDM RAce intake!!
