Howdy!

Hi guys! My name is Tayyab, and I currently own an E36 ///M. I am thinking about buying a R56 Mini. One particular car I am really interested in is a 2007 JCW with only 11k miles. I think I can get it for $16.5 grand. Do you guys think that is a good price? Also, I'd like to know if there is anything in particular I should check out on that car?

Although I love my ///M, It has alot of miles, and I just want to get into a newer car. I test drove the JCW, and I think it's a pretty good car, but didn't think it was quite as fast in straight line, or in corners as my M3. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Tayyab.

Don't know your M or the JCW, hard to make a call without being in the seat. Price sounds all right but have checked out by a qulified MINI tech before spending the money.

It was a trade in at a dealer, and I know the Manager there pretty well. He is letting me have it for pretty much what they paid for it. From my little research I have done, I thought $16.5 was a great deal. KBB, and NADA private party value of the car is around $20k.

I have carfax of the car on hand, and it's a two owner car. (it was a corporate owned for about 2400 miles, and the rest of the miles were put by the 2nd owner.) So, you say I should still get it checked out even with this low of miles?

Thanks,
Tayyab.

Always get it checked by a MINI certified tech. ALWAYS.

Sounds like a pretty good price. Good luck to you!
