glove box stuck

HELP ... Glovebox stuck closed... will not unlock...HELP

what year and model?

Can I guess that something big got put in there and now the door is jammed?

Or is the key lock jammed (I forget, does GEN1 HAVE a key lock?)

my 2005 glovebox got stuck closed. if you lift up the handle and put a finger in there just right you can get feel the spot to push to, ahem, get it open. there is no need to punch or kick it in frustration like i did for about an hour.

i initially planned on carefully fixing it after i got it open the first time, but i can get it open very easily now with practice and i just pretend it's my own sort of safety device.
