Hello from Florida

I just purchased a 2011 countryman s all 4. It's white with a black top, black wheels and a manual trans. I am loving the car but the drivers window goes all the way down but the passenger side leaves about 3/4 of an inch of window. Should I take it to the dealer to get fixed or is this just normal like I have seen in other threads? Thanks.

Welcome from a fellow Floridian!

I would say that the window not going all the way down is abnormal. MINIs have some quirks, but I'm pretty sure both front windows should go down the same amount.

BTW, be sure to check out the "Sunshine MINIs" website for local events and happenings.

Welcome and congratz on the new ride. Give us some pictures or drool over and take it in to make sure the window works correctly.

Hi Blainestang,

I was checking out the Sunshine MINIs site at your suggestion because I would love to see some events closer to home. Can you let me know if the site is very active? It seems a little slow to me. Just wondering!

Congrats!

Yep, I would take it to the dealer. That's what the warranty is for.

Well it's not going to keep you busy all evening reading through all that days posts, that's for sure

A significant amount of my visits are for finding local parts, local events, and organizing/joining caravans to nationwide events, etc. Obviously, more active sites are better for technical questions that you need a quick answer on or questions/requests that benefit from huge membership numbers.

hi Blainestang: yes, the site does seem quite small compared to NAM. I was checking it to see if there were any events regularly held in my area (South Florida), or any upcoming gatherings, but I have not seen too much except for MOTD, something in Cocoa Beach, and something in Ocala. I guess I will just have to keep an eye on it for things in South Florida . . .

thanks for the tip!
