I have seen Minis with a red light or reflector in place of the black oval on the rear just above the bumper. Does anyone know more about this? Can't locate info online. Thanks.

 

The red light is the rear fog light. the black oval is the plate that covers the hole if the fog light option is not purchased.

 

Thanks. Now I can research that. I thought it was a place where I could put a regular red light or reflector. Maybe depending on wiring it could be used for a few things provided you could find the right fit and lens.
