doing a coolant pump any advice?

Welcome aboard. You might have better luck if you post the year & build (Justa vs. S), and possibly post in the gen-specific forum.

thats good advice thanks,I'm working on a '06 S with a manual trans (6- speed).Just had pump go out was wondering how big a job it was.Thanks

Search waterpump and search thermostat and look at the DIY's to get an idea/tips on what needs to be removed. Its a few hours worth of work as you have to get the front of the car off "service mode"

I did my waterpump O-ring seals last week, I would say the entire process was about 7-8 hours in total, realisticly with the draining and refilling of the system.
