Hello everybody. I've been a long time lurker to these forums, ever since I purchased my first Mini Cooper over three years ago. I have just recently started posting because I needed some help troubleshooting a problem. It has been resolved as so many great enthusiasts do to help around here.

In 2007 my girlfriend and I decided to get married so we bought a house, got married, and purchased our first car together. It was an exciting year. Since my wife doesn't drive for medical reasons I got 51% of the vote as to what kind of car to purchase. She just had to be comfortable which meant air conditioning and power doors and windows. It left my options wide open (I have been a long time car enthusiast but of the V-8 type).

We searched and searched and discovered the Mini Cooper. It was a fair compromise; she wanted practicality, I wanted sport. The Cooper was a perfect fit.

She just wanted to pick the color and make sure we opted for the sunroof option.

07' Mini Cooper S, Sparkling Silver Metallic, black mirrors and black top in the sport package fashion.

 

Sounds like a keeper to me.

PS-My wife bought Artoo (03MCS) for me on my 50th Birthday. She wanted to surprise me but my friends convinced her that was a bad idea.

Welcome. Glad you were able to get your issue resolved. There are so many very knowledgeable people on this forum. Thankfully I haven't had to bug any of them yet. We've been very fortunate to have owned 4 MINI's trouble-free (knocking on wood). Hope you continue to enjoy for a long time...the car & the wife.
