Hello everyone. I am as new as they get. My 2006 Saturn Ion Redline was totalled out last Monday. I am expecting my insurance settlement later this week and next week, I will be buying either a 2007 or 2008 Mini Cooper. I was originally moving towards a Cooper S, since I am a performance guy, but with my new commuting circumstances, I am opting for a standard Mini, since everyone who owns one seems to be totally thrilled with them. I look forward to learning, as I have with every other vehicle, I have ever owned. To let you know what is in the family, besides the upcoming Mini, I have an 04 Cadillac CTS-V, a 91 Corvette, 87 Monte Carlo SS, 1965 Malibu SS, and an 04 Toyota Sienna. I am passionate about cars and have always loved the Minis, so I am looking forward to finding a nice one.

Glad to hear you made it out okay after totaling your Saturn! Yikes.

Looking at your list of other cars, (well, besides the Sienna )I personally think you should go for the S.
