Okay so I have only had GM vehicles for as long as I can remember, my wife has had nothing but Honda's. However we saw a MINI online for sale and read they get pretty good fuel millage soooooo...... WE BOUGHT ONE! However, all I know is it is a 2004 MINI cooper (not an S) and thats it. I see all the different models/ options and I have no idea what I have, but if this forum is like any of the others I have ever been on, I know there are lots of good people who are willing to help!

Believe it or not, most of us did not buy our Mini Coopers because they get good gas mileage. They are extremely nimble well handling automobiles that are a pleasure to drive. There are cars out there that get better gas mileage, are more dependable and that carry more stuff. They however, do not look or drive like a Mini!

Basicaly true, MINI get good, not great gas mileage, they are prone to minor problems, very few major ones, but when it comes to fun driving there is nothing that beats them, enjoy, enjoy, and keep on enjoying!

Yeah she wanted a civic but when she saw this we liked it and drove it and I will admit it drove great and is light and nimble. Like I said earlier I have ALWAYS had GM which drives NOTHING at all like them. As far as gas mileage goes I am comparing it to a Z71 Tahoe!!!! Well I am looking forward to learning more and more info on the MINI and all the mods/ accessories available!

Nothing compares to the looks of a Mini (IMO). I always catch myself looking back at it after I park

Congrats! Every so often a person that works at a dealership will offer to run your VIN and email you a list of options that your car was purchased with. Doing a search on here of VIN and option might get you to someone who can do it. It will also give you nifty info such as your cars DOB. Also, your local MINI dealer (if you have one) might be willing to do this for you.

From a Tahoe to a MINI, that's quite a leap, but I have a feeling you're not going to mind a bit. Welcome.

I understand going from a tahoe to the mini. I traded in my ram 1500 quad cab for the mini. That hemi was sucking way too much go-go juice of course the 35" tires didn't help either
