I'm guessing you are on the boat. Worst case scenario if we are sailing over to the states:

Ok, here is what I do every time: I click on the 2wglobe and then go down to the Track and Trace, I click on the all users and then it tries to connect but never does, it just goes blank. End of story.

Well, I may not be able to tell if Lil Guy is on the Fedora, but I have tracked the Fedora out of the Port of Southampton, for all that have Minis on it, she is on it's way. Looks like it left port about 2 hours ago and out in the English Channel right now, or close to that.

So, it's Hurray for those on their way. I don't think, for some odd reason, that Lil Guy made it. Sad, Sad Sad

I tried sending you a PM but the site is being weird.

If you want to email me the last 7 of your VIN I can try and look up to see if you are in on the party.

Well all, thanks to BGR Alex I found out that indeed, Lil Guy is on the start of his voyage across the big pond. They are just getting into the English Channel and on their way to first, New York POE then on to Baltimore. Fantastic. Now, if I can survive the voyage without getting sea sick, oh yes, that's the Lil Guy doesn't get sea sick. Pass the Martinis please.

Let's see if I've done this right--here are two quick photos. I've refrained from posting all the ones with me and a big goofy smile.

Here's my 2011 MCS in Horizon Blue!

Dodgy: Really looks nice. Funny how colors that don't look so great on Mini's website look nice in person or in this case, your photos. Hey, put the goofy smiley face on too. I'll have that same goofy smiley on mine in one month.

Oh jeez now I'm jealous. It's going to make waiting for my MCa that much harder!

I agree on the Horizon Blue. It looked so different at the dealer than it does online (better in person). It also seems to change it's color depending on the light.

Thanks for the compliments, hemi and alex--part of the reason why I took the pictures in partial shade is that I like the grey color that comes out of it.

I have to say getting the car on a weekend was great. My wife and I had a few errands to run, and to say we took the long, long, long winding road is an understatement. Given that the car had 5 miles when I took delivery, I've been making sure I vary the revs and don't push too hard, but a few canyon roads still made it quite enjoyable. I think it needs black stripes (didn't want the white pinstripe edge, so I'll get them after market), but I'll post more pics once I get that done.

The wait is well worth it--you guys'll have a blast!

Alex: At 01:50 our Fedora is really cranking it on. It has just passed Plymouth, England, heading out to pass Ireland by tomorrow. This is interesting in following the progress on GPS. Interesting.

It's finally Here!!! It arrived last night and I got there as soon as I could. I really like the color combo and the all black interior. It does have Visual Boost, and I'll let you guys know if it includes MINI Connected. Here are some pics I took with my phone, next time I go to the dealer I'll take a proper camera. I won't have any decent pics till next week though, but they'll be up

Cheers!

Unfortunately yes, I am having special work done on the car so I need to wait a bit. My MA told me that there's a waiting line for the PDI so I am hoping for delivery around Oct 20th...

Looking good there. I'm starting to wonder, just how many cars are coming thru with the Visual Boost? Maybe that is replacing the other speedometer unit? Maybe? With Mini, who knows. Lil Guy surviving the 2nd day at sea. He and GBR Alex's car had too many martini's last night and missed the prime rib dinner. They needed help getting back to their stateroom. They're room mates now.

Yes, that was a rough night for Jux. Too much partying.

MINIGEZR: In your signature, you probably meant 2010, not ordered 2011 unless I missed a year here.

Dodgy, car looks great. Any color that you like is a good color, as all Mini's look good in any color. Give him a good life. Lil Guy is now two days out of Port of Exit.

the worst, as far as waiting goes, is the interstitial time between leaving the UK and arriving off the US Coast. There's no data. Ha

You can follow the Fedora buy Googling Fedora Cargo Ship and then find the site that allows you to follow where the GPS is on that ship. Probably able to do this on other ships, but I'm not interested in other ships. Fedora is about 1/4 of the way to the USA, or so it appears.8 to 10 days, that's what everyone tells me. 8 days to New York, then another day to Baltimore POE, where Lil Guy will get off.

For hunting vessles...

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/dat...a=A&level0=200

EDIT: The Fedora is no longer listed on that site. I'm hoping it is because it is not within range of the coasts and not because it is on its way to the bottom of the ocean...

Alex: I was tracking the Fedora and it was going fine until yesterday when it stopped at 50.771992 by 20.192499 and it seems that it has not moved, or been reported on since. Anyone with any ideas? Here is where I have gone to track it before yesterday: www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi
