I am so glad to see that I am not the only one in misery right now. I was told because of the Mini Connect that my car would not be in country until mid January 2011. My only comfort has been this forum to see what mods I want to add on while I impatiently wait. I have to admit that the Mini has become quite addictive! Thanks for the support thread .

yadigme: I thought that being involved with Mini's was addictive before I ordered my Lil Guy, but now that it is ordered! Well!! It's much worse. Then, you find out that it is not nearly so far along as you were told last week......well, it's just nice to know that there are others out there with similar problems. With me? Well, whenever Mini decides to start production on JCW's, well who knows. Kind of makes you want to go and take one off the lot, but no, I'll wait to get what I ordered. There aren't any 2011 JCW's on the lot, anyway. Maybe that's their idea in holding my Lil Guy up, they think that I'll settle for a 2010. Nope, not happening.

I ordered on Friday Sept 24th, and have an order number. I checked on Mini USA, and it shows as "ordered", bot no production schedule. Maybe I should call "ASK MINI"

Capt Fred:

That's what I have been getting since Sept 10th, the same thing. Keep in touch, we can console one another, or congratulate each other. Wish you well.

You guys can definitely make it through together. I remember I was told "oh time will pass quickly, before you know it you'll have your MINI!" and I went "are you $#%@ing kidding me?!" But now, I'm less than a week away and the time really has passed. Not that I just slept through the last month of life, but I've been enjoying normal life and occasionally daydream about how much more fun normal life will be once it arrives.

Hang in there guys!

I mentioned before that my first MINI was ordered by a proespective dealer based on my exploratory config, and then they just called me up and announced it was in the showroom, which was a great marketing move. I wasn't in the market at that moment, needing to sell my GTI at the time, but boom, it was like suddenly real, waiting for me, so I bit.

This time, I'm waiting in the queue like everyone. On the one hand, I was thinking hey, I have a toddler, which between work and that and everything else, means I have no TIME to sit and obsess over vehicle manufacture status. But on the other hand, it means LOTS of 3am awake with a distressed baby... time to think about MINIs... hahahaa. Oh brother.

Hi everyone,
You think you guys have a long wait! I ordered my Countryman last week which will not go into production until sometime in November. Hopefully the wait will mean I can get Visual Boost, though it wasn't available to order yet. And maybe I'll even get to see one in person before then.

Can you shed some light on how you actually ordered a Countryman? According to my dealer, there is no order guide or pricing yet so that while you could leave deposit to reserve an allocation spot an actual order can not be placed at this time.

There is an order guide, but pricing is just an estimate at this time. Allocations have been set for November build. In fact, I believe they are being encouraged to enter their orders...at least the order guide indicated this, and I have seen it from not one, but 2 dealers - one at Milwaukee Milwaukee and the other at Patrick Mini in Chicago. Where are you located?

That is very interesting. I live in the Main Line area just outside of Philadelphia. Have a "reserved spot" with MINI of the Main Line but nothing more official than that.

Hey guy, I was in your area last week. Stayed in Pottstown and visited the Mini dealer in West Chester. My cousin lives there. She use to live in Bryn Mawr, many years ago and we were in that area too. Good luck on the wait.

Guess what I discovered in the office parking lot! The quality isn't great but it's the color combination I ordered and I am very happy with my choice (EG/White) Also when I peeked inside I saw the Visual Boost Radio, wonder how he/she got it before me

My mini is en route. It was built and on ship earlier than expected. This is good. Does anyone know if there is some way to track the ship if I find out the name? Thanks.

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep// Go to the bottom right, click "All Users" under the Trace heading. Then enter your VIN as Cargo ID. If your MINI is on a WWL ship, it'll show up. If it doesn't, it's probably on a KLine ship and there's not really a way to track it unless you can ask your MA the name of the ship

Thanks for this info! I was able to see that my wife's MINI is on a ship! The Owners Lounge still shows it as 'in production'

October 11 baby!

Count me in as a new member. Just placed our order for a Cooper S Countryman All4. My expectation is late Jan or early Feb delivery.

hemisedan, don't know if this is your issue but I found it wouldn't work using Chrome as my browser, but worked just fine in Firefox.

I guess that I'll just have to wait, as I can't get on. I did get the news that my Lil Guy should, or is scheduled to be, out of production on October 5th. Then the begging period to get on a cargo ship. That's what I was trying to do, to find out if it has been scheduled for that. Boy this is trying. I remember the Good Ole Days, when you ordered your GTX, waited for the call from the dealer that it is in, then went and picked it up and started looking for GTO's to harrass. Oh well.

UPDATE: Kate at Mini Service just informed me that status is now #151 and it has entered the Paint Shop. Still finish date of 10/05. We're progressing!
