for the record I do not own a mini but the mini's big brother the ADO16..I am here to read and learn all possible about what is and is not interchangable between the two vehicles. I am doing as much searching of prior post as possible to learn without annoying anyone. Of particular interest to me at this time is the interchange of axles and joint used in these two series over the years and what is needed to upgrade to the rod shifter...have seen plenty of reference to these items over various pages and forums but cannot seem to lock in on any absolutes...its been 26 years since I last worked on an ADO16 and that one did not get any upgrades..just a recondition of a stock setup and body/paint work..thanks
