help!

Looking to buy a mini.
I would like to know who works on them on the western slope of Colorado,
Grand Junction is only 60 miles from me.
Thank you in advance.

generally any shop with a computer system will. they pay for subscriptions to updated databases on info to do just about anything to any car.

While this is technically and effectively true, there are more than a few quirks and oddities to these little beasties of ours. So yes, anyone can work on them, but if you can find a mechanic/shop that has a lot of experience with a MINI, you are far better off.

I just recently stumbled across a link here on one of the forums that had a very good listing compiled over several years of reputable MINI mechanics throughout the country. A quick search hasn't turned the thread up again... hopefully someone else saw it and can link it up here.

Hi Don,

You might have some luck looking/asking the same question in our forum. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s/mini5280-74/

We're MINI5280 and we are mostly a Denver based club but we do have members from all over the state of Colorado as well as some in Wyoming. Also, you could look into joining MINI5280 at www.mini5280.org.

PM me with any questions and I'll help you out.

Joe

a specialist is always best but a willing mechanic will always find a way.

Go ahead and buy the MINI, you will find someone to work on it. It's not a Ferrari.
