Hi! I just wanted to send a big "Thanks!" to this whole community for the amount of information, informed opinion, and general good cheer around here!

I'm very close to getting a MINI (probably going to hold out for a 2011 MCS), after having desired one for, well, since I first saw one of the classics when I was a kid.

I'm sure I'll post more once I'm an actual MINI owner. Until then I'll keep reading daily!

Thanks! I've spec'ed out at least a hundred different configs. (My wife thinks I'm obsessed, but I call it good research!) Tough choices online got a lot easier after walking the lot and seeing the various options on the 2010's. If it's a 2010 it'll be dark silver, black top & mirrors, viper stripes (eventually), black/grey leatherette, piano black trim (or anything but the checkered default), convenience package, premium package (with the sunroof light toned down via sunroof shade or vinyl), and white turn signals.

I'm curious to see 2011 pricing before making a decision--especially around how Mini Connected and Convenience Package overlap with bluetooth prep. Eclipse grey sounds appealing, but in the UK configurator it looks really, really dark with a hint of green (I think that must be my screen). Finally, I'm on the fence with the sunroof both because of head-clearance and because the screen doesn't block all the light. But the 2011's darker tint might make that easier.

I know Gabe at MF thought pricing would've been released by now. Here's hoping it's not delayed too much longer!
