Got another waiter here! My mini went through production the last week in June and has been "awaiting transport" since the 5th. Must be a really slow boat! My MA is useless, anytime I ask her anything she just tells she'll "be in touch as my mini gets closer to arrival" aka "I'll let you know when we're ready for the money."

 

i'm not sure how to figure out my production week. All I know is that I'm currently "awaiting Transport". I'm dying because the car was allegedly completed on the 13th of July and now is just sitting around bored without me driving it!

 

This whole "IDK what's going on" process is killing me. I called the AskMini number and it no longer has tracking ability. I cannot register in the owner's lounge because my VIN is "special." The first time I called the 13th of July it said "in transit." Now, it automatically transfers me to an agent, who cannot see my car. My SA has no idea, except "it is coming," as he says it in his British accent. But, it has July allocation. Thus, it should be done, or at least in production by now...Sorry for the rant...

 

Well everyone, after all the sleuthing I can think of, it looks like I get one of the following:

Leave Southhampton on the:
- 21 July
- 30 July
- 2 August

Arrive Charleston:
- 3 August (Hoping for...) [ww]
- 11 August (Maybe...) [k-line]
- 13 August (Most likely...) [ww]
- 17 August () [ww]

So, if any of my guesses are right, this will take much longer than I expected (and hoped...).

It was released to the courier today - 21 July 2010 exactly when it was suppose to get done with being built.

This looks more like 14 days for shipping and not the 8 I was thinking I read in another post...

Now it looks like another month before I get it...

I'll keep posting what I find.

Well, I've made it to "193 - Arrived at Port of Exit".

 

I'm hoping that the updates on the mini site are just slow. I went onto the shipping site and was able to use my VIN to find (what I'm hoping) is my car on their Fedora ship which is currently crossing the Atlantic. I'm hoping I did things right and I've been tracking my car, otherwise god knows what piece of cargo I'm keeping an eye on.

 

Don't feel bad Im sitting in Italy, My car went in to production 5 July and Still have not got it and they already have my money.

Just got word the mini is on the truck on its way to the dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!should have it by the end of the week!!!!!!!

 

Holy c&@%! I just got an email from my dealer that they think my mini might be here by Thursday! According to the mini website it's still waiting in England for the boat...so confusing! Hopefully he didn't mix me up with a different order, will write more when I hear back.

 

The Owner's Lounge on MINI's site is not the most reliable of sources for information (for example, even though it gave me the VIN, it reported that my car was an MCS and not the MC I'd ordered... part of me was hoping the OL was right). I'd trust the email from your MA... your wait is almost over!

 

Sweet, I just got word that my Mini is at the German Dealership. Less than a month to go...Yes!!!

 

Congrats! My car is on the boat that just left Halifax and should be into the New Jersey port tomorrow. I'm dying right now.....

 

Our minis are probably on the same boat together. My dealer in Baltimore wrote me back yesterday that they expect to have it on Thursday to be ready for delivery Friday or Saturday! I thought I still had like a months wait so I can't believe it's almost here!,

 

You know I guess no matter how many times I look at that schedule it's not going to change.......come on mid August...
