Did it

Started searching for a MCS Vert May 14, 2010. I get a email from Brook at Otto's in West Chester, Pa. Pics of a Laurel Edition Convertible. My first impression was...that's it. That's the one. Some phone talk. A few emails. A visit to Otto's to check it out and a return visit yesterday with intentions to buy it. Brook was accommodating. No pressure. No lines of Soup. He priced the Mini to sell. It was now or never for me.
So here we are. I bought it for joy riding. Nothing else. Might like to take it on a road coarse sometime. It's fun. It's fast. It's been 24 hours and I really like it more than I thought I would. Exceeding my expectations so far. I'm going to try to keep it stock...said try to. When I'm not in the Mini I enjoy playing pool, listening to tradition jazz (especially now through the HK) and keeping the cars clean and looking good. I'm in the Phila area. Might hook up with some of the Mini clubs sometime. The Mini's are a blast...but you guys already know that.
I considered a Mini 2 years ago. Here I am. Touch down.

You'll need a roll bar to run that car on a road course, sorry to say.

But, welcome to the madness!
