Welcome to the forum, hope your manual shows up soon, has a lot of important info. Use premium gas, regular at your very real risk.

The manual for the Canadian edition of the 2010 Clubman (non-"S") says to use 91 octane fuel, but that it is acceptable to use 87 octane.

I quote:
"Required Fuel
Super Premium gasoline/AKI 91
This gasoline is highly recommended.
However, you may also use gasoline with less
AKI. The minimum AKI rating is:
Cooper S, John Cooper Works: 89
Cooper: 87
If you use gasoline with this minimum AKI rat-
ing, the engine may produce knocking sounds
when starting at high outside temperatures. This
has no effect on the engine life."

After reading accounts on the threads related to use of the "Seafoam" engine cleaner, I've started using 89 octane in my Clubman. So far, I have yet to notice any ill effects.

You can download PDF manuals from the Owner Lounge section of MINIUSA.com

https://ol.miniusa.com/

You must have your (US market only) VIN number to create an account.
Go to [Your MINI] menu.
Unfortunately they only have manuals for '02 to '09 MINI's.
I have been using the '09 manual for my '10. I have not found anything different between '09 and '10 but have not done a direct comparison.

I emailed the site and asked about the '10 manual and was told they did not know or have any idea about when (or if) the '10 manuals would be available. Didn't sound like they even had someone to work on that.
Maybe if they got some more requests they would put someone onto the task?
