Aloha NAM members, I'm an excited first time Mini Owner!
Hello Everyone,
Just purchased a Hot Chocolate 08 Clubman S. I flew from So Cal to Arizona just to check it out and ended up buying it and driving it back. What a great road trip. My Mini has the steptronic transmission. I wanted a manual but the wife didn't want to drive a stick. I gotta say that the steptronic is almost as good. It's so fun to be cruising down the highway, knock it down a gear and squirt past the competition. I haven't had this much fun on the road since I sold by Yamaha 750 road bike. I've just finished figuring out the Universal Remote Bluetooth and the MP3 connections, so if any other newbies have any problems with these feel free to contact me. The manual isn't exactly clear on some of this stuff.

Welcome...people who think cars are just a means to get from point A to point B have never driven a MINI. 
Here's wishing you many many years of excitement and enjoyment behind the wheel. I'll start counting how long it will take before you guys have to buy another one. MINIacs aren't real good at sharing...for obvious reasons.

Welcome Mark! Must have been a fun drive (through the desert?) I got an auto for the wife as well, so she will let me drive her GTI 
If you haven't spent much time looking around the forums here there is TONS of great info around if you end up having any questions or need ideas for mods

Post some pictures of your new Clubman, Just go to the gallery (After you login) Its in the upper left corner, you can post your pics there.
Now you have to decide on a name for the little fellow.
