In my two month search so far I just came across a 2006 MCS and I'm rationalizing the mileage and what's left of the original warranty. The mileage is just under 43,000 and the original sale date was 12/06, so it looks like it actually has a few months or 7,000 miles to go. It's going for $15,995 and I think that's a good price. Would the mileage scare anybody away? Probably a good idea to have a mechanic scan it first?

 

Have a Mini centric shop, or a Mini dealer look it over...drive it...all the usual things for buying a used car. IMO, it us super important that a person who knows mini's do the pre-buy inspection...(a non mini shop/dealer will miss MANY things), sometimes this is called a pre-purchase inspection, put it up on the lift...not just a " scan"...that only tells you about codes on the computer, nothing about the condition, care or state of the car.
