Got my Mini!

I'm 19 and just bought my first car. It's a 2006 Cooper S Royal Grey Metallic with 28,000 miles.

My first purchase for it is going to be this chrome scoop: https://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coo...net-scoop.html

Does anyone have any experience with this scoop? I would leave it stock but someone has tried to steal the current scoop sometime in the past and it has a crack from it. Figured the chrome scoop will go good with the chrome package already installed.

Wow, this post is a bit to long

Good purchase

I'd sleep on the chrome scoop. Alot people get over all the chrome real quick and end up blacking it all out. I know I changed my mind on the chrome after a few weeks with the car.

im not into chrome, but if that is what you like then go for it.

lots of members black out chrome or go CF. just a matter of personal preference. enjoy the car and watch out for the mod bug...once you start you will be hooked!

Where can I find pictures of a RGM with a black scoop and one with a chrome scoop?

Welcome to the obsession from MAD-Town, WI. Since I don't get much actual MINI wave action here on the roads, I'm giving you a virtual MINI e-wave, keep on motoring!

Heh, I'll second that -- I see two or three regular MINI commuters on my way to work every morning. I think I've gotten one of them to wave 50% of the time...
