Yep Bought a MINI
Yep Bought a MINI
Hey everyone. I always get on a new forum with any car I own that I plan to mod and mess with. So here I am. I bought a 2004 Mini Cooper S yesterday. It's a Cream colored 6spd with some aftermarket stuff on it already, but guys like us never leave anything alone with our cars, lol. I got it for 12k with 60k miles. Seemed like a good deal so I went with it. I don't know jack about Minis but I plan to use the forum to learn. I already found some great stuff on here. That's what prompted me to join anyway. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. I'm a huge MTX fan and have used MTX for about 10 years now. I already bought (2) MTX TS5510's, (2) TDX6203 6x9's, (2) TDX6502 6.5's, a Clarion HU and an MA 1000W amp, (can't afford the MTX amp yet) Should sound pretty good. Ok well I'm out.
I'll get some pics up soon. I've already been working on getting stuff together. There won't be aby stock pics but plenty with my mods. It usually doesn't take me long before I completely rip a car apart and mod it in some kind of ways, lol.
Hey congrats!
I got an 04 MCS 6 speed two weeks ago and love it. Mine is pure silver. So far the mods are: new matching floor mats, steering wheel cover and visor CD case with pink/red hearts on it, couple cosmetic bags for storage in compartments that aren't divided or enclosed very well, zippie shades, back to black on trim, ordered 2 black "cooper S" license plate frames, new cargo air filter, cigarette light adapter, seat covers with zippers in back for split seats. If you couldn't tell I'm much more into aestetics than performance mods.
Oh and I feel like such a girl...two weeks of driving and just yesterday I accidentally found the buttons in the back of the steering wheel for the radio/CD. I did read the manual, but thought I didn't have the MFSW. And no, I'm not blonde!
Gonna figure out a way to repair some of the paint chips in the front bumper/bonnet next.
