Bought a 2004 MCS

I bought a 2004 MCS. It has 28k miles and is in mint shape. Transmission is manual. Accessories include leather seats, HK stereo, headlight washers, computer, multifunction steering wheel, and sunroof. Tires are in good shape but are not runflats. I hope I got a good deal at $12,500.

The Carfax report showed the 83 year old that I purchased it from only drove it 2k in the past 2 years.

Being somewhat handy with a wrench, I have changed the drive belt, oil and filter, air filter, and cabin filter. All fluids have been checked and topped off. What else should I check?

Thanks for any assistance. I love driving this car.

nice, my '05 was $4k more for 10k more miles and (haven't double checked), but I don't think it's the harmon kardon stereo.

I have an 04 MCS with 27000 miles on it that I purchased in Jan for 14k. I think you got a great deal. I'm wondering, with no run flats and no spare tire what do carry for ease of mind? I'll need new tires before too long and I'd like to get away from the expensive run flats.

I bought a "tire kit" from Walmart that includes a small 12 volt compressor and a bottle of "slime" tire sealant for $20. I also bought an inexpensive tire plug kit ($4.00). I keep these in the boot and hope I don't have to use them. I need to get a small flashlight as well to keep with the above items.
