Does anybody know how to find out what time the boat will leave Southampton?

 

anuppercasej, I'm not sure how to find out the time of departure. I used this link to follow the Undine in and out of Southampton:

http://www.ais-live.co.uk/ Then click on the menu button that has the word "Solent" in it. Thenk click on "Solent Area Ship Positions". Mouse over the balloons for the ship names.

I think the Undine was coming in and out of Southampton on Easter because I was around most of the day (cooking etc.) and was able to follow her into and out of Southampton. I was able to just keep checking the balloons until I found her. If you have to work, I'm not sure what you can do. Try Googling the ship name and schedule and see what comes up?

Tijuca in Halifax port now... it snuck in early this morning; might be able to catch it on the webcam as it leaves...

 

The shipping schedule sez ETD is 18:00, so that would translate to 1 pm ET. If you use the http://www.ais-live.co.uk/aismap/AIS%20Maps/solent.html site, zoom in on Southampton port and select the satellite view. There's a fleet of minis in the parking structure waiting to be loaded just a little NW of the position of the Faust.

 

Are your MINI's on the way??????

Anyone else on the Baltic Highway? I'm a little worried today because when I checked marinetraffic.com, it looks like my boat is going the wrong direction!! Hope nothing terrible happened... It's supposed to be in Brunswick, GA tomorrow.

 

mattdaemon, your MINI will be on its way about the same time I'm getting on my way in my new MINI! I'll be leaving in about 5 minutes to go get it. I'm not holding up well at all! Can hardly breath!!!!! I'll post back later (probably after dark!).

 

Faust status just changed to "underway". It is not clear how long it will take to reach the webcam.

 

The webcam image is very hazy, but looks as if the Faust will pass the webcam within the next 30 minutes or so. I'm such a geek:-)

christo4ferris, That's pretty slick! I'm very impressed. And I picked up my MINI from the dealership and it's as awesome as you think it will be! Haven't stopped smiling yet. Been out motoring and am about to go again! I can't figure out how to get this picture in this post - I'll try to put it in my control panel.........

 

I think I figured it out - here she is straight from the showroom. Poised to go motoring all afternoon!
