I've always wanted a Mini and test drove a new one in 2006, I loved it and started adding all the options I wanted and by the time I was done it was way more than what I wanted to spend so I put it off. 2 weeks ago I see a 2006 Mini for sale, stopped and test drove it and bought it the next day. I finally got my Mini!

Yeah I know what you mean about wanting a bunch of options. It took a lot of discipline for me to take the other approach. I got a pretty basic MCS and am going to slowly mod it over time. I figure it's easier on the pocketbook and it's also going to be fun watching "Douglas" evolve over time. Have fun!
