Hello everyone. The Midlands 5 speed in my beloved '02 Justa spun the ring gear last week. I am going to fix it but it has brought to the forefront my intention of converting it to a 6 speed Getrag from an S for durability and reliability.
These cars are getting pretty old and not worth the money of embarking on this endeavor through a Mini parts department. I already have the best Getrag for the conversion. What I did not realize is how many other pieces and parts are different between the two. I am looking for the following items in used but still useable condition. Any help is greatly appreciated. PM me with what you have and what you want for it.
R53 flywheel
R53 starter
R53 left and right axle shafts
R53 shifter and cables
R53 shifter cable mounting bracket from the top of the trans
R53 trans mount
R53 slave cylinder and hard tubing that goes to it
