I've had my 2009 PW MCS for almost a year now. I bought her in Germany (US spec) and just moved back to the states, New Mexico. I got her back a week ago and can't wipe the grin off my face every time I hit the sport button.

I'm looking to start modding at least as much as the budget will allow

First on my list are Wheels and Tires. After doing a little research I really wanted to go with 15" wheels but it seems because of the brakes on the stock S the smallest I can go is 16". Anyone out there find a way of putting 15" on thier MCS or is going with 16" my best option. I assume either new brakes or there are a few 15" rims that can accommodate the OEM brakes.

 

Yeah the R56 S brakes don't allow for 15-inch wheels. You'd have to go 16. 16 is okay...I ran 16s on my R50 and kept them to use on my R56. I think the 16s look better without sacrificing ride comfort...the 15s are super-comfy but look...well...sorta dorky

 

Thanks for the advice but I don't know I kind of like the look of 15's maybe it's the sexy librarian effect or something.

If I was just going for a softer ride I think I would just ditch the run flats and be done with it. As it is I am really torn between getting that really cool helix IC or start with a new brake kit as prep for getting 15's in the near future. Decisions decisions ... anyone out there with good reasons as to where I should start?!
