New Mini Owner

Hello,

I bought my first Mini two weeks ago: 2010 JCW Clubman Black on Black; Sport Stripes; Black-Jack on sun roof.

I already have 1411 miles on it - so just starting to exercise the engine fully.

What a ride!

And - based on this group's comments - I'm already signed up for a 'Jan-tune' (though am a bit concerned about invalidating the warranty... )

Thanks for the advice so rar!

No aerokit... yet.
I really like the look - but decided to save the $$ for the performance mods.

Suspension first; then the tune (they may be simultaneous - but worried about the warranty)

Also - I still have the run-flats. I am trying to sell them -to pay for some Yokahamas

I have 14,000 miles on my Clubman S and although I frequently put my foot down hard I don't think its reached full power yet!

When I first passed the break in mark I was so excited to get it on the freeway I almost hit triple digits on the Speedo before I realized how much I was pushing it!

congrats!! love my JCW Clubman as well; of all the mods I've done on my cars over the years; I get the most satisfaction out of the JCW Leather Steering Wheel <<< well that's just a lie, but it's definitely made the driving far better. The center ridged stock wheel felt like I had bought a rental car, & when in sport it was quite useless.
