Hi everyone, my name is Pastor George and I have a 2002 mini cooper, Gracie is India Blue with white top and currently has 192000 plus miles. I am the second owner, I got her with only 36000 miles. I live in New Hampshire and currently am trying to decide on if I want to replace the passenger side drive axle that is leaking grease all over the drive belt and harmonic balancer and alternator. Gracie has been a good car and only let my wife down once when the fan belt broke after 80,000 miles and oil soked. has anyone out there replaced the axle and the crankshaft oil seal along with the balancer?

Wow 192K going for 400K, that will be some record. Good luck, hope you make it with minor repairs, so far darn good!

 

Thank you all, it has not been with out some problems along the way, small stuff except for the Transmission at 100,000 which is the biggest and most expensive so far. the people at Mini of Peabody have been good to us.
