I would try a different dealership. I traded my Altima in for 11,000 for my MINI, and other places I looked at would only go up to 7,500. (BTW that 11,000 is only like 900 short of what I paid for it 2 years ago) Shop around and you'll get a MINI soon enough.

They have a pretty classic lookin R53, chilli red w/ white stripes and white top. If that's the one yer talking about it, it's a pretty handsome car. I know it has matching red interior dash panels as well if my memory serve's me right. But I didn't look to close, didn't want to go even more in debt.

Thats the one! I do like the car.

I might work on getting that one since its loaded.

What kinda down payment are the usual? Is 10% down enough to get financed? I can put as much as 30% down, but would like to save that in cash to do some mods...

And now its in my garage! Thanks everyone for pointing me to Liz, she was awesome! They gave me what I wanted for my truck and I drove the car home within a couple hours of getting there. All in all the easiest car I've bought in a long time.

Definately the most fun as I truely enjoyed my 3.5 hour drive home!

Thanks guys!

I'm already getting the "mad" part of it. I washed it twice yesterday after having to travel down 2 miles of muddy dirt roads.
