Exactly! I knew the car arrived in the port cause I watched the ship dock virtually online.(yes I am nuts and have cataloged every bit of info on this build and transport, I even have pics of the ship and screenshots of it leaving, crossing and arriving in port) But I didn't know how long it would take to go through the VDC and be released to the carrier(trucking company)so I just sent an email to our MA and she said the car would be available for us to pick up Saturday or even before if we wanted.

 

Erik, My MA said that our cars are delivered to their Exton location and then driven over to Otto's. Were probably even on the same truck. Wont be long now!

 

Anybody on Shanghai Highway get any word?

 

soo close!! damnit can't sleep. i hope i get my mini baby by this weekend to help me end these sleepless nights. =p

 

My MA said he saw the car as being offloaded and in the port as of Friday.

We are waiting for them to put on some of the accessories and then it should ship up here by weeks end with any luck at all.

Anyone from Elektra know if they officially offloaded yet at South Carolina port? The wait is killing me. argh!

No, the Camden is Silver. The Mayfair is Hot Chocolate with Toffee bonnet stripes. Waiting for mine right now.

 

My dealer just called and told me my mini is in transit. I should have it within another 48 hrs!! woot!

 

My MA is waiting to hear back from SC. It's making me mental. I just want to know what's going on !!!!

Thanks, with the weather forecast as it is I am picking up my Cooper late this afternoon.

My guess is it will get home tonight and sit until Sunday or Monday when the weather gets a little better. Luckily I still have my leased Nissan Altima until the end of March to drive in bad weather. I do not want anything to happen to my Cooper the first month I have her...

 

Just got word that I can pick up my Clubman tomorrow night! I hope the snow holds off this weekend so I can put all my doo-dads on when I get home.

I just received an email from my MA this evening telling me that mine will come off the Don Carlos tomorrow in NYC. With transport time down to Richmond and some aftermarket stuff to be put on, it looks as if I'll have my pickup next Saturday.

I swear, I'm about ready to bust a vein.

 

Seriously. Are they rowing this boat by hand or something??

I'm hoping for pickup next weekend but we'll see, I suppose. I have to say, this goes a lot faster being in the Midwest (where the boat comes to NYC - 7 days) than when I lived in CA (where the boat comes to Long Beach - 21 days!).
