Based on my experience, you should make it. My car finished production on 11/5 and sailed on the 7th. And is at the dealership now, just waiting for word that it's ready to be picked up.

Just got confirmation that 2.9% financing has been extended into December. That was unknown until about an hour ago. Picking up car in the morning.

Ordered my second accessory today. A CF hood scoop

 

I went with the Chrome Scoop, but would have gone with the CF if I went the JCW route. I kind of wish I got the Xenons now though.

 

I'm booked aboard the Morning Cornet It's heading down the english channel approaching South Hampton right now. This ship tracking is pretty cool.

Slightly disappointed in h/k. FM tuner sounds crappy and hollow. Highs are on the overly-crisp side for my ears. No mid adjustment, no DSP settings. The mids sound off somehow. But it's loud and clear, and for a stock system, isn't bad at all. Interfaces REALLY well with nav, and iPod Y-cable working well for me, including charging iPod Nano & iPhone 3GS with no problem, something earlier years weren't doing.

Will DVDs play in the player?

 

My mini is supposed to arrive at the VPC on the 27th. I'm hoping it gets to the dealership by the 31st. I don't know if that is completely out of the question or whishful thinking. There is a substantial tax credit if you buy a car before the end of the year. I wonder if they would complete the paperwork and let me buy the car before they actually had it delivered.

Great, someone else on the west coast. 20 days more onboard the ship. I ordered the carbon fiber scoop also. Now to save up for those carbon fiber mirror covers

 

20 more day for ship to arrive to port, then another week for the car to get to the dealer both our cars will have the jcw aero kit install at the VDC. the installation usually delays the delivery of the car, we'll be lucky if we get our cars the first week of January...at least I have my '06 to keep me company 'til then.
I am also buying the jcw carbon fiber scoop and the trunk grip and maybe the diffuser or the wing, still haven't decided which to buy.
