Awesome guys! Sounds like a few of you are on the Tomar. I guess I'm an early week 45'er. Some of the week 44 guys are on the Fedora. Now I'm just hoping I will be able to take delivery before Thanksgiving.

 

I'm apparently a week 45 production, but I'm still awaiting transport.

 

Welcome Ian! Have you checked the W&W site to see if your MINI has been booked yet?

 

Still awaiting transport here too :( Tracking on the WW site just gives me a 'No records found' message. I'll keep trying!

 

Hey HippieChic! Maybe your Mini will be on the same boat as Ian's...they won't be lonely! Hopefuly they will be booked and picked up Monday morning.

 

Haha. I'm sure. Coincidentally I have a friend who got a 128i at the same time I ordered, so hopefully they'll all be on the same boat, if BMW's are produced in the same are -- No idea where the factories are. Anyway, my production finished Nov 4th, and still no record on the boat. Come on anxiety!

Edit: Ahhhhh. Still, nothing!

 

Tomar left port yesterday and should be on west coast on the 27th

 

just checked and it changed to vessel: QUEEN SAPPHIRE
another 12 days before it arrives North America...:(

hey Chicklet, which dealer in Atlanta did you order from? I have been over to Global a few times looking at the 2009/2010......still deciding on color, options and if I should spring for a JCW or not. Definitely want a Mini and my '98 BMW is coming up on 300,000 miles.
What options did you order? have you heard the new HK yet?

 

Hey Peanut! I bought my current Clubman from Global and ordered the new from Global. You can PM me if you have certain questions. Haven't heard the new H/k yet. Will get to hear it at the end of this month. My new Clubman is a sport/convenience/cold/S. It all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Feel free to PM me!

 

Still no Ship name... ...

 

Same here, I think they've abandoned us. It better be ON the ship and they're just slow to update. 6 days post production to get on a boat?

 

have you guys called your MA(s) for status updates?

 

I haven't called my MA - I think Moonpie is still just sitting at the docks. Status at the Ask Mini automated line just changed yesterday to "at port awaiting shipping vessel" so, I'm not even sure if she's really been there that long. And if I'm reading the WW ship schedule correctly, and depending on whether she is coming into Charleston, SC or Brunswick, GA... she missed a ship that sailed yesterday and there is not another scheduled (that docs in one of those two ports) to depart till November 17. I'm not happy, but whatamigonnadoaboutit??? Maybe she'll be on one of those informationless boats - I guess I'll start bugging my MA in a day or two.

 

Oh noes HC! I'm so sorry to hear. Just call your MA and bug them about the status.

 

Actually there is one more ship that sails TODAY. Fingers crossed she get on!

And I know, I'm gonna start sending my MA an email every morning and all it's going to say is: DOOD, where's my car?
