Yet another newbie...

Greetings all,

I should be welcoming a 2006 MCS (8K miles, I4, Manual 6) to the family in about 18 hours. I have to admit I was a bit reluctant at first - being an SUV guy....

But something in me, after driving it, and with more than a little prodding from my wife - has me hooked. These puppies rock.

I'll be sure to harass you all once the clutch goes out, but until then - she can drive the Pathfinder.

Cheers!

Congrats! Yes, the MINI is addictive. I was told years ago that I should not test drive a MINI unless I was ready to buy one. I found that to be true. Sold my BMW 3 series to buy a MINI and have enjoyed it tremendously. Happy motoring!!

Welcome to your new home away from home. Only 8000 miles what a deal, barely broken in. ENJOY

I just registered in the forum; will sell my 3 series for a Mini also, but not sure if I'll buy a used 06-07 or a '10 with just the options I want.
