We went through BMW financing and they got their rate from Suntrust I think. My wife and I have excellent credit, about the best you can get. Those are just the rates out there I guess. In all reality a percentage point or is really on works out to like 15-20 bucks a month, so it's not a huge deal. Think I'm going to call my bank and see if we can finance it with home equity loan, that way I can write off the interest.
Loving the car BTW...drove around the neighborhood 4 times yesterday in between football games just to drive it. Love the purple mood lighting...the wife says it's so cozy.

Damn, the Morning Caroline practically caught up with me! I still don't have my car yet, but any day now. It's been at the dealer and processed. But it's getting window tint and clear bra right now. Probably done and curing...then I'll pick her up!

But I'll be sure to snap a few pics with my phone to stare at until Saturday.

My car is there too! I'm in L.A. so hopefully it will only take a few days.

Wow it does look great. I don't know how you can stand just visiting it like that Crevier, eh? Are they sticking it to you with that Cilajet bs?

Nope, no extras and no BS. My MA has been great so far. I don't know how much of a "deal" I'm going to get as we haven't talked about numbers yet. One bad thing though... I specifically asked twice for them to not drill front plates and they did.

No HK on mine but it's no big deal to me. I never listened to the stereo before we ordered so I had no idea what it was supposed to sound like. I think the stereo is great (mostly listen to XM which I installed). Had a heck of a time using the USB port, it got stuck in amenu that I couldn't get out of.

SOOO I went in today to get my 2010 MINI.... I walked out with a 2009 they had on the lot.
Long story short, my interest rate was 7.2% on the Mini Select plan for my beloved 2010 I had special ordered.
They had a 2009 on the lot with more options (MSRP $29,950) and since I qualified for the special financing my payments turned out to be way less than the 2010 (MSRP $26,250). What sealed the deal was I negotiated about $1,500 off MSRP on the 09 that I got.
So in a way I'm sad that all this tracking for months was for a car I didn't buy, but it all worked out in the end!! I love my MINI.
I'm going back Monday so they can swap out the wheels for the Web Spokes I wanted and they're going to detail it too! I'll post pictures Monday for sure!

Yossarian, I'm picking mine up on Monday afternoon (unless paperwork holds me up...) I'm financing through USAA because they could offer me a better rate than MINI (I'm getting 5.19% through USAA), but I need to make sure the loan paperwork I have from them is okay before I can go take delivery. I'm super excited though!!
K3vin, how exciting and what a strange turn of events! Did you get the color you wanted too? I was able to negotiate $1000 off MSRP for my 2010, but I'm sure I could get a better deal picking something up off the lot. What keeps me from doing that is I really want to Nav system, and they don't usually order cars with that option since it's so expensive and not as popular for most who are shopping the lot. Anyway, post pics when you can, but don't let the picture taking get in the way of your motoring! Have fun with the new ride!

I ALMOST got the color I wanted. Its Astro Black instead of Midnight Black! Eh.. close enough! $1k off MSRP on a '10 is really good. They really weren't willing work anything on the 2010 for me. I guess they really wanted to move that 2009 they had sitting in the showroom right next to us!
The only reason I went for it because the car was similar to the one I ordered but had more goodies. I'll have to update my sig soon with all the new options! Its got the convenience package, Hi-Fi, piano black, anthracite headliner, sport suspension, xenons, aero kit (which i'm still not 100% thrilled about), JCW strut brace at no charge, and free mats.
Heres a pic from the dealer site. Monday they are swapping those $3,000 JCW wheels (which I did not want to pay for) with web spokes!
