So my 2010 MCS is officially in production, with an estimated completion date of Sept 1st. So am I a Week 35 because of when it started, or a Week 36 because of when it's complete?

No "Support Group" as of yet....so I want to know if I should call it a Week 35 or 36.

 

since your car is in production, you must know by now what is "new" in the 2010 models versus 2009?

 

You would be Week 36, it goes by completion date.

 

Oh gosh, now I'm wiggling in my seat! I was given a week 36 production date for my '10 JCW. SOON!!!!!!!!!

 

That's the scary part...I don't. I ordered a 2010, and have yet to even see the price. My dealer gave me a Week 36...I called the automated line last night, and it said it's in production with a estimated completion date of September 1st, I even have a VIN.

I originally ordered a H/K with it, but a week ago that was killed by Mini. And the only other change I know of is the MFSW is standard on the MCS for 2010. If there's some cosmetic changes on the 2010, I've yet to see them. I wanted the blacked out Xenon lights, but it didn't show as a selectable item when I ordered...so new standard for 2010? Who knows.

And the greatest mystery of all to me? They've started my 2010 but there's no 2010 configurator yet...hmmm.

Ditto all around. I know the same details that are on Motoring File, but that's about it. My MA told me he'd send the pricing along as soon as he had it, but I still haven't seen details. I'm not too concerned since I had initially planned to get an '09 and figure any additions on the '10 will just be icing on the cake -- especially the HK stereo upgrade.

 

I with you 100%. The color and combos I esentially did are no different than an 09...for the most part...except I wanted the H/K (I explained in the Week 36 group). Funny thing too, even though it seems the H/K was wiped from my order by Mini, there still seems to be some speculation it may or may not show up with the H/K. Personally don't care either way anymore. And don't know if there's a difference in the if or if not...but I ordered alacart, not by package.
