yeah, same here. I _really_ had a terrible experience purchasing the car. Next time I'm buying used or not buying from MINI.

 

Seems to be a lot of variation in how dealers dealt with this program. Mine had no reservations about it and it was a quick process. I've read other threads here about good and bad dealers -- just like everything else. Of course being car dealers, they all have some tricks up their sleeves!

 

I think the dealers that quit doing Cash For Clunker deals last week, before the program ended, are stupid. Either that or they are making too much money already.

 

I am so happy to have gotten my MINI through the CARS program. My clunker was a 1995 Mercury Villager minivan with close to 208,000 miles. Whew! What a relief when I pulled it onto the dealer's lot.
