Based on this and comparing to the Miraflores webcam, is that the Porgy just off in the distance approaching the lock?

 

Yes, that is the correct camera. Once those two ships go thru the lock, the Porgy should be next.

 

Anybody else really have the urge to call someone in Panama and tell them to straighten their high-res camera. I'm at my desk tilting my head like a confused dog.

 

I am nor sure if that is the Porgy or not - if not, she should be hiding behind the MSC Carouge (the black ship coming in to the lock on the right). Actually, I can now see the Porgy peeking around from behind the MSC Courage.

 

no accessories to install, makes me wonder how it takes a week to arrive at the dealer (annapolis). i'm midway between baltimore and annapolis

 

I'm pretty sure it's what's causing the shadow right behind the MSC... We'll know in a minute here!

Agreed. Note the vertical face and the straight line at the 'left side' of the shadow. Looks like a nice big box of a cargo ship...

I just got home from work. I can see the Porgy at the Miraflores Locks!!!!

Yes, that is most definitely the Porgy. The Maresk Dartmouth is now pulling out and Porgy will come into that lock next.

It should take 1-day to get down to you. The dealer will need to prep a little, say another day. They still have to line up a car carrier and get the route straight. So it may take you and me 1-day to get up to NYC but with stops at dealers along the way with loading/unloading. Plus some time just sitting in the queue behind others. I can see 1week.

 

I wonder if the webcams get a little spike in users when a MINI boat comes down the locks?
