Just Got My Horizon Blue MCS
Just Got My Horizon Blue MCS
I just turned my WRX with a weird issue plus some hail damage into a new MCS. I waffled a bit at first on new vs. used ('vert) but with MINIs holding their resale value so well, the good deal on a new S I found was too hard to turn down.
Its hard to tell if its just the honeymoon period, but I'm enjoying my MINI so much despite the loss of AWD and a bit to 60. Its just so easy to throw the car around, I've had to focus on the tachometer to try and obey the break in. The interior is about as unintuitive as they come but much nicer than the WRX.
Pretty much a stripper except for the metallic paint/stripes but thats the way I like my cars. The wife preferred to spend the extra bit vs the yellow.
Got a bunch of questions but I just wanted to say hi!

Heya, congratulations skimmilk! That's very cool that you found what you were looking for (basically) and you're lovin' it. I'd be willing to bet it's not just the honeymoon period. Driving the MINI almost a year later is still the funnest part of darn near any day I have.
