Hey guys, my name is TJ and we (my wife and I) are currently in the process of purchasing a 2009 Cooper S Hardtop thanks to a great return from the cash for clunkers program for my $1200 beater
. If all goes well, we should be able to pick up the car next week Tuesday.
The car is a 6spd manual, black with a black top, premium package, winter package, piano black interior, dealer installed arm rest (all black
), and winter floor mats all around.
I do have one question for you guys. Do you find the the hids to be worth it? Are the factory halogen lights really nice? There are no black on black combos in the area and given the time constraints of the cash for clunkers program, I do not have the option to order the car. I was considering buying the whole package from the dealer but I think the total will be $2500 added to the purchase price of the car.
Thanks for any help.

Congrats on your pending purchase! I'm also doing the cash for clunkers program next week. My old minivan is worth $150, but I'm getting the $4,500 credit! Wahoo!
Your new MCS sounds cool. But in my opinion, the xenon lights are not worth anywhere near $2,500. I say spend that money on something else.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats! You're going to have a blast driving that Mini compared to what you had, if the wife lets you drive it! but I think you already know that
, though she says its because the insurance on her 12 second Talon isn't fully switched to my company.
